Although we do not belong to a specific religious organisation or denomination, we do encourage individual spiritual awareness and are open to any learner, regardless of their religion or views. All respect each other’s views whether they vary or not. Learners must also realise that we do perform in Christian churches, for that is where our craft finds its origins.
Currently the Cape Choral Academy is funded by school fees and private donations, with our main sponsor being Accountability. Please be sure to look at our Get Involved page on how you could help.
Our learners have opportunities to learn an instrument of their choice through our relationship with the Stellenbosch University Konservatorium of Music. Please see our Approach to Music page for more information.
The Cape Choral Academy is an IEB accredited school, with all subjects required. We place a focus on choral singing. Normal academic subjects and lessons are taught through Brainline. See more under academic approach .
No, the Cape Choral Academy is a school and a learner must be enrolled in order to join our choir.
