Raising Voices. Uplifting Communities. Building a Nation
Choral Consult is a consultancy specialising in exploring and developing school choir conductors and school management teams to work proactively with learners within a musical environment. We inspire others to sing.
Our Vision
At Choral Consult (CC), our vision to:
- Empower school choir conductors—especially those with little or no formal training—to lead with confidence, musical insight, and purpose.
- Assist school management teams in understanding the transformative power of choral singing as:
– a tool for improving discipline;
– a deep connector to our humanity through beauty;
– a psychologically enriching experience when done with care;
– a cultural bridge that fosters unity; and
– a means of nation-building—one chorister at a time.

Our Mission
Our mission is to:

- Equip school leadership teams with clear, practical choral strategies and help them build sustainable choir programmes that align with the school’s identity and values. We bridge the gap between the conductor and management to ensure shared ownership and long-term choir success.
- Train and support choir conductors through structured mentorship in
– planning and managing choral programmes;
– launching and building a sustainable choir strategy;
– recruiting and retaining learners (specifically boys) in choirs;
– applying vocal warm-ups and voice development suited to each choir;
– selecting repertoires that balance vocal health, artistic value, and audience appeal; and
– developing conducting gestures, rehearsal techniques, and rehearsal space discipline.
